Right at this very moment, I am unpacking my bags at the Caribe Royale Resort for the BookNet Fest! For those of you that don’t know BookNet Fest is a conference for anyone that is involved in the book community such as bloggers, vloggers, or even if you like to review books on sites such as Amazon or Goodreads that’s cool too! Now, unfortunately, this event isn’t taking any more registrations but I am hoping that they will do this event again next year! Right now they are asking for donations for the event and the more donations that they get the more likely the event will happen next year!
I am thrilled to be a part of this free event and I know I am going to come out of this event refreshed and ready to take on my tbr list like Rory Gilmore and review books like every week! (Let’s hope!)
One of the things that I struggle with is balancing my work life with my book blog! I am a first-grade teacher and the constant demand of teaching in a public school combined with doing this book blog is tough! But I am hoping this event will rejuvenate me and motivate me to keep this blog going and to set up more of a structured schedule for book reviewing and coming up with fresh/unique topics for my blog!
There are so many awesome topics for BookNet Fest! They have guest speakers that will be discussing topics such as writing, reviewing books, and creating fandom!
The most amazing part is that the guest speakers are the super famous YouTubers that I watch daily! The speakers are Katytastic, A Clockwork Reader, PolandbananasBOOKS, and Jesse the Reader, and so many more amazing speakers! Jesse the Reader is even going to have a workshop where you can actually ask him questions about your blog, vlog, or Instagram! My heart is so happy to be a part of this event that I can’t even put it into words!
Look for my upcoming blog post on this event on Wednesday next week because I will be posting about my experience, TONS OF PICTURES, and I will be having a possible giveaway as well! Also, follow me on Instagram @catfairyreads and visit my Facebook page at Living in a YA Dream Book Blog for pictures of BookNet Fest!
